World Thalassemia Day

On May 8th, 2025, Samarpan College of Pharmacy celebrated World Thalassemia Day with the aim of spreading awareness about thalassemia, a life-threatening genetic blood disorder. The event was organized by the college highlighting the significance of the day and the role of pharmacists in managing and educating about genetic disorders.

A poster presentations, skits, and PPT presentations were conducted by students to engage the audience and raise awareness in the local community.

The event concluded with a pledge by students and faculty to continue advocating for thalassemia awareness and supporting those affected by the condition. Overall, the celebration was informative, inspiring, and impactful in promoting health education.
