World Pharmacist Day 2025

Samarpan College of Pharmacy, Lucknow celebrated World Pharmacist Day on 25 September 2025 based on the "Think health Think Pharmacists"On this day we celebrate the crucial role that pharmacists play in building healthier communities everywhere.

The purpose of this celebration is to increase public awareness of the vital roles of the pharmacists who play in enhancing patient safety and their healthcare worldwide as well as the general well-being of society.

The programme began with a warm welcome speech, followed by the lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. Our respected Chairman Prof. (Dr) R.S. Dubey sir addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of pharmacists in healthcare and their contribution to society.

As part of the celebration, Two guest lectures were organized, where an eminent expert from the Pharmaceutical field Prof.(Dr.) Gourav Kaithwas ( Professor at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Lucknow) and Mr Vijay Kumar( Head QA & QC MKA Remedies Pvt Ltd) shared valuable insights on the latest developments and future opportunities in pharmacy. The session was highly informative and motivated the students to excel in their professional journey.

In addition, students actively participated in various activities such as Poster presentations, Oral Presentation, Chart Presentation and Quiz Competition, skit and the winner got a Certificate. The programme ended with a vote of thanks and pledge of the national anthem.
