On 24.2.2026, Samarpan College of Pharmacy organized a hands-on workshop on Basic Life Support (BLS) to enhance students emergency response skills. The training session was conducted by a qualified trainer Mr Anup Chandran from Max Super speciality Hospital Lucknow who guided participants through essential life-saving techniques.
The workshop focused on practical, skill-based learning, covering how to recognise medical emergencies, perform high-quality Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and manage choking in adults, children, and infants. Students received firsthand practice on manikins under expert supervision, allowing them to build confidence and competence in delivering basic life support.
The event aimed to empower future healthcare professionals with critical skills that can make a difference in real-world emergency situations, emphasising teamwork, quick decision-making, and the importance of immediate actions.
